As 2025 comes to a close at our Venice, FL vacation rentals, we like to take a pause and look back over the year’s beautiful weather, fun events, and wonderful guests. As always, we are so grateful for those of you who chose to stay with us. We cannot thank you enough – you are the reason we do what we do!
We feel lucky to be here in Venice, and to be able to share the area’s wonderfully relaxed Gulf Coast vibe with our many guests. When you stay at The Banyan House, you’re right in the heart of it all!
The best of downtown Venice is just a few, palm-lined blocks away. Boutiques, cafés, galleries, historic sites, and more. Nearby Centennial Park is the location of outdoor concerts, movie nights, the Farmers Market, and a variety of popular annual events.
Speaking of annual events, Venice hosts a variety of them. Popular attractions like the Sharks Tooth Festival, BBQ & Bluegrass Hoot ‘n’ Annie, Sun Fiesta, Holiday Parade, and many others.
Venice’s natural beauty is also major draw. There are 14 miles of lovely sand beaches within 5 minutes or less of our Venice Florida vacation rentals. Nearby Caspersen Beach is one of the very best in the area for prehistoric shark’s teeth, scuba diving, and smaller crowds. Spend lazy days sunbathing, beachcombing, or catch fish or a sunset from the Venice Pier.
You can also always stay “home” and enjoy the many perks of your Banyan House vacation rental. Kick back by the heated pool, relax in the gardens, or enjoy a game in the recroom. The property blends historic character with modern comfort, featuring full kitchens, private baths, and thoughtful amenities.

“All I can say is I only wish there was 10 stars to go. This place is unbelievably located to everything we wanted to do. The rooms were spot on. There is a public shopping center right around the corner to stock the kitchen that already had Every appliance needed to cook a five star meal. So many added extra things I could go on for hours about how wonderful it is and the attention to detail that was provided with our accommodations!!! Best stay I’ve ever had!”

“The Banyan House is absolutely one of most favorite places to stay in Venice Beach. We love the homey feel of each of the private rooms and all the special touches that are provided . They offer unlimited water, snacks, breakfast items, even a bottle of wine in the room awaits your arrival along with a personalized welcome note from Rosie & Brett. The rooms are spotless, the grounds beautifully maintained , love the banyan tree and all it stands for, the bicycles that are available are such a great addition as you can easily ride to downtown & the beach. The proximity & location of the air bnb is perfect. A 10 in our books ”

“Banyan House is a true gem. The property is lovely, with old world charm, and is clean ,and well maintained. Bed and pillows super comfy. Our room had reclining loveseat and chair; great to put your feet up after a long day out. Loved having breakfast on our own outdoor patio, shaded by bamboo trees. Rosie, Bret, and Odi are committed to providing an exceptional experience. No extra charge for bikes, helmets, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, ice chest,washer/dryer. Close to downtown Venice and Caspersen beach. We look forward to staying there again. Our stay here exceeded our expectations.”

“This place was absolutely amazing. Absolutely beautiful and amazing history. Owners and staff couldn’t be more amazing! communication and great generosity was incredible. The property is amazingly well kept everything you need to make you feel right at home. I can honestly say every time I come back to Venice this is the only place I will stay if there’s availability. Highly recommend not only are the grounds beautiful and historical. They also provide bicycles, beach chairs, everything you need to go enjoy Venice beaches without having to bring your own stuff.
